NCCLR The National Center for Construction Laboratories and Research is one of  The Ministry of Construction and Housing Institutions specialized in Construction Materials Laboratories and Field Testing, Soil Investigation Tests, Road Tests, Assessment for Building & Structures.

We also present Engineering Consultation for our clients in the field of Structural Assessment for Construction Materials & Buildings.

We make Studies & Researches concerning our specialty, which serve modifying test method or developing substitutes of construction materials.

We hold courses & symposium in our specialty and we train students of colleges & institutions in Baghdad and other provinces.

يقوم المركز بإجراء التقويم الإنشائي للأبنية المتضررة وذلك من خلال تقديم الاستشارات التي تعالج المشاكل الإنشائية لهذه الأبنية مثل:
 
1- تضرر الخرسانة وحديد التسليح بفعل التعرض إلى هجوم الكبريتات أو الأملاح أو نتيجة التعرض للقصف أو الهزات 
2- تضرر الأبنية من جراء تسرب المياه تحت الأسس (هبوط أو انتفاخ التربة) 

وتعتمد عملية التقويم الإنشائي على تقديم دراسة لهذه الأبنية تعتمد على إجراء الفحوصات التالية وحسب طبيعة المشاكل في الأبنية: 

- فحص اللباب الخرساني Core Test 
- فحص الذبذبات فوق السمعية Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity 
- فحص المطرقة Schmidt Hammer Test 
- فحص جهد نصف الخلية   

- فحص الكربنة 
- فحص قابلية الخرسانة للسحب 
- فحص عرض التشققات 
- فحص X-Ray للحام 
- الفحوص غير الاتلافية بواسطة المواد الفلورسينية للحام 
- قياس قطر حديد التسليح 
- قياس سمك الصدأ 
- قياس سمك الغطاء الخرساني 
- الكشف عن مواقع حديد التسليح
