1- conducting the lab tests for all construction materials , soil tests , the required    tests for construction works and present technical consultation .

2-make the applied researches to find the best means in construction works through coordinating with the specialized sides

3- documentation the scientific  sources , publishing and periodical which issued by local and international institutes that concern the center's activities 

4- developing the technical efficiency in the field of quality control for researches .

5- make contract with the other sides for special services by conducting the lab tests  and other works .

6- make contracts with government's institutes and other sections , consulting      bureaus to achieve its aims .

7- publishing the researches which are made by the center and distributing them on the concerned sides to get benefits .

8- organizing the courses to train and qualify the engineers and technical staff

9- make a library consists of sources , publishing  and periodicals which concern the  activities of the center .
